We launched without a client list to show anyone, which made our own website the first real brief.

Vulkan Creative launched in 2024 without a site of its own and without the years of portfolio that the London agencies it was pitching against could show. The founders designed, wrote and built the first vulkancreative.com themselves, brand direction and copy included, and it had to stand up next to those firms from the first week.

The build was a custom WordPress theme rather than a bought one, with its own animation and page transitions, a section for each service area, a work section and a clear route to an enquiry. Copy carried the line the agency still uses, turning creative sparks into powerful brands. A studio film ran in the story section, and the insights listing gave the writing somewhere to live. Nothing on the page was a stock layout, because a template would have undercut the whole pitch.

That site ran until the 2026 rebuild replaced it, and the original is still live at v1.vulkancreative.com if you want to see where the agency started.
