Bite Talent
A QSR, retail & franchise recruiter's LinkedIn reach doubled in a month, with no paid promotion behind it.
At a glance.
Bite Talent is a specialist recruitment business with a strong understanding of the QSR, hospitality and retail markets. Our role has been to turn more of that knowledge into consistent, engaging content across LinkedIn and email, helping the brand stay visible to clients, candidates and senior decision-makers throughout the year.
LinkedIn, email and reporting now work together as part of one joined-up strategy, with performance monitored month on month and benchmarked against the wider recruitment market.

The challenge.
The expertise was already there. Our job was to turn more of it into content that reached the right people.
Bite Talent already had a strong reputation across QSR, hospitality and retail recruitment, backed by a team with deep market knowledge and close relationships across the industry.
The opportunity was to bring more of that expertise into their marketing. Their consultants were having valuable conversations every day about growing brands, leadership hires, new openings and changing market trends, and we wanted to turn more of those insights into content.
We also wanted to give Bite Talent a more consistent presence across LinkedIn and email, helping the brand stay visible to clients and candidates throughout the year, not just when a new role went live.
With other recruitment brands competing for the same attention, the focus was on building organic growth through better content, stronger consistency and a clearer strategy, rather than simply relying on paid promotion.
The approach.
We built the strategy around what Bite Talent’s consultants already know. Their team has first-hand insight into the QSR, hospitality and retail markets, so the focus was on turning that expertise into useful, consistent content rather than simply filling a posting schedule.
LinkedIn was managed organically, with content built around market insight, hiring trends, growing brands and the conversations the team was already having with clients and candidates. We also benchmarked performance against competing recruitment pages each month, giving Bite Talent a clearer view of how its reach, audience and engagement were developing within the wider market.
Alongside social, we strengthened the email side of the strategy. The database was cleaned first, followed by improvements to the email and CRM setup across Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. From there, the monthly newsletter became another consistent way for Bite Talent to share useful content and stay visible to clients and senior decision-makers.

Bite Talent’s LinkedIn presence saw strong organic growth over the month. Unique accounts reached increased from 7,036 to 14,171, a rise of 101%, while impressions grew by 81% to 22,254.
Over the same period, the page gained 1,917 new followers, all organically, with no sponsored promotion or automatic follower invites.
LinkedIn’s competitor analytics also showed Bite Talent’s audience growing by 8.5%, the highest growth rate across the five recruitment pages being tracked. This gave us a clear indication that the content strategy was helping Bite Talent increase its share of attention within the market.
Engagement strengthened too, with 948 post clicks generated during the month. Two job-led posts alone accounted for 492 of those clicks, showing that role-based content continued to perform strongly alongside the wider market and insight-led strategy.
Email performance improved at the same time. Newsletter delivery increased from 70.3% on the first edition to 85.4% on the second and 94.5% by the third.
The third edition achieved a 55.8% open rate among successfully delivered emails. Of the readers with job-title data available, 106 of 166 were Head-of level or above, representing 57 different companies.
Together, LinkedIn and email are giving Bite Talent a consistent way to stay visible, share its expertise and build relationships with the people making hiring decisions across the sectors it serves.
